Edge Apprentice – Apprenticeships
As the recognition of the importance of testing and the need for high quality professional testers continues to grow, there is a need for organisations to have more efficient and cost effective ways to meet that demand. We have developed Edge Apprentice to address that need whilst ensuring you can maintain the level of control you require.
Test Analyst Programme
This allows you to build up your own capability by ‘growing your own’ Test Analysts. The key principles include:
- Establishing a group of trainees using several options from graduate or junior business staff recruitment through to your own staff from the business or other areas
- The option for you to transfer apprentices to your employment at the end of the programme
- A comprehensive and intensive training programme prior to being placed into your teams to contribute real value to your projects
- Basic training, provided through classroom, workshop and practical sessions with a final formal assessment, is followed by experience within your existing teams, supported by a mentor
- Training includes professional development and the building of soft skills
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing course are incorporated in the programme.
