Edge Process Improvement

Based upon many years experience of listening to and advising clients of ways to reap the benefits of a sound software testing process, we have developed the Edge Process Improvement Model. Organisations are often already aware of the areas that could be improved upon and our model is based upon a short, sharp exercise to understand your challenges, recognise these areas and provide 'quick-win' and strategic solutions.

Policy & Strategy

There is a requirement for organisations to have an overall Policy and Strategy on how systems are tested prior to go-live. These elements provide the basis for the implementation and execution of testing within programmes and projects. We can review existing documentation or provide 'off-the-shelf' and customised collateral ensuring a focus on adding real value to your organisation.

Standards & Processes

We can support your drive for consistency of approach across the organisation by assisting with the definition of standards and processes. This can range from a testing framework with standards and processes with touch-points across the whole software development lifecycle through to tailored versions to reflect your specific needs. As well as traditional testing areas this may also consider, for example, product accreditation, change management, quality gate implementation, audit and regulatory compliance, and test data management.
