Edge Testing Solutions has extensive experience in ensuring that organisations have the necessary tools to support the testing of their software solutions.
Whilst we are independent, our primary experience is in the use of the HP (formerly Mercury) suite of quality assurance products. Specifically, we provide consultancy in the use of TestDirector for Quality Center, WinRunner, QuickTest Pro and LoadRunner. Our consultants have experience of implementing the products in blue-chip organisations in industry sectors including Finance, Retail, Government and Utilities.
Installation & Configuration
Supporting the installation and configuration of the products to ensure that they not only work within your environment but are tailored to deliver the maximum return on investment for your organisation. Many of the products will work almost 'out-of-the-box' but some, for example, Quality Center require customisation to assure success.
Performance
A well formed strategy for performance testing is essential. Our comprehensive, structured approach allows you to deploy systems with confidence from a performance perspective covering:
- Understanding of performance requirements
- Performance test scripting to defined standards
- Scenario profiling and execution
- Results analysis and reporting.
Automation
Used in the right way test automation can reduce testing costs and schedules. Too often however, organisations fail with automation but we have developed processes to assess your suitability for automation together with an implementation approach to realise the benefits. Our service includes:
- Suitability assessment for your organisation as a whole or project specific – proof of concept
- Creation of a framework for test automation to ensure consistency
- Automated test scripting to defined standards
- Ongoing script maintenance or updates.
Training & Mentoring
To maximise the return on your investment it is critical to train your users to effectively make use of the tools. We can provide customised training and mentoring in all the HP products, whether your need be on a specific project or as part of a skills transfer programme allowing you to build and retain knowledge and expertise.
