Edge Testing Solutions Officially Selected To Provide Services to Public Sector Organisations

Edge Testing Solutions, one of the UK’s fastest growing and largest independent software testing company, has announced that it has been officially selected as an approved supplier on G-Cloud 8 (G8) framework, the government’s official online procurement network.

The G8 framework sets out to deliver better and more cost effective public services by applying technologies that increase public sector productivity and efficiency, whilst offering short procurement cycles and deployment times.

This enables Edge, who have supported the Government’s G-Cloud strategy since 2013, to successfully continue providing world class software testing solutions to UK public sector organisations through the UK Government’s secure online store, the Digital Marketplace.

Edge Testing have been working with local and national government agencies, councils and public sector organizations for over 9 years, building up an excellent reputation with an enviable client list and have a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Since its inception in 2007, Edge Testing has had a growth of at least 40% year-on-year, with now over 150 people and boasts some of the UK’s premier testing thought leaders and experts.

The company continues to grow and expand across its key territory in Scotland and has seen turnover doubling in the past few years in England where it continues to acquire new customers. The Digital Test Hub by Edge Testing was launched in 2013 to provide low-cost on demand services to the digital industry – the first of its kind in the UK. It provides a Quality Assurance and Quality Assistance service which supplies strong, structured quantitative testing from Strategy through Planning, Preparation, Execution and Reporting. Whatever your devices or timescales, use as much as you need, when you need it.

CEO and founder of Edge Testing, Brian Ferrie, said: “I am delighted that Edge has been selected to continue on the G-Cloud framework. For the past 3 years we have delivered a number of successful projects with customers in the public sector via the framework and they have found it very easy to engage with us."
